MICHAEL BODINE: Keyboards

Originally from New Jersey, Mike began his entry into music in elementary school playing harmonica in a fifty-piece harmonica ensemble. As a fifth-grader, he started playing trumpet and this became his primary instrument throughout high school. However, in 12th grade, primarily as a tool to assist his songwriting, Mike taught himself piano and keyboard.

Mike has played with a variety of bands covering various styles and genres including:  Centre Stage, No Exit, Whatsinaname, The Clocks, Montage, Bluesberry Jam, Wolves of Azure, Planet X, Plan B, Almazuma, Montys, Group Therapy, Katana Mantra Electric Orchestara, Steppin’ Stone, Mason Reece Conspiracy, Full Proof, among others. A prolific and published instrumental songwriter, he has composed hundreds of pieces, including two that are currently being used by The Billboard Art Project.

In addition to his musical skills, Mike also has experience in live sound reinforcement and was full-time sound engineer for the band, Dixie Flyer, for two years.
