We’ve got T-shirts and Vinyl Stickers emblazoned with The Groove Motive logo. The Groove Motive T-shirts come in two color varieties, black and charcoal/grey, and feature The Groove Motive logo on the front left chest area. The back of the shirt declares your “fanship” of The Groove Motive with the text “I’m A GROOVIE!”, the official name adopted by fans and followers of The Groove Motive.  Sizes are: XL, Large and Medium. The stickers measure 4.25″ x 2.75″ and also come in two choices: white text on black background and black text on white background. On October 8th, 2011, The Groove Motive had the privilege to perform for the  “Step UP For Down Syndrome 5K & Family Festival Event” sponsored by the Down Syndrome Association Of  Greater Richmond (DSAGR). The event highlighted and recognized the many achievements and activities of those with Down Syndrome. It was great to see so many people come out. And believe me, there was lot’s of dancing, clapping and singing.

Among the many new friends we made was  Joseph and Cris Anthony and their daughter, Alina. Alina is pictured below with (in her own worrds) her “favorite band”. Joseph took the time to write the following to us after the show,

“On behalf of my wife, Cris, and myself, THANK YOU for your music, spirit, enthusiasm, and for being so welcoming to Alina. Take care – Joseph Anthony”.

We thank The Anthony family as well as all of the event participants and volunteers for allowing The Groove Motive to share the joy of music and to make a difference. For The Groove Motive, this is what it’s all about!
